Meet Richard Lewnes – The Founder of Tackle Cast
Richard is a UK based angler who has over 30 years of experience, fishing in various countries including Bass fishing in Florida to searching for giant Trout in Canada. His father, Ray, was an expert angler and a successful match fisherman. Richard followed his fathers lead from a young age and immediately got hooked.
Richard is always looking for innovative ways to improve his fishing experience whilst being a firm believer that you can’t fail with the tried and trusted methods that have served him well for over 30 years.

Why We Do What We Do…
Let’s be honest, fishing is an exciting, peaceful and rewarding hobby but if you’re spending your hard-earned money on the wrong equipment for you, fishing in the wrong spots or fishing incorrect methods, we can be wasting some of our valuable time and money.
And that in a nutshell is why every member of the Tackle Cast team does what we do.
We love to fish all year round. We love the great outdoors and we love the thrill of the catch. But we all hate paying through the nose for it and wasting time on the wrong techniques and products.
Loading ourselves up with as much knowledge as possible about this wonderful sport allow us to fish the right way, but ditch the wrong way, whilst getting the maximum enjoyment when on the banks.
We also think more people should be expanding their knowledge of fishing. And that’s why we spend so much time sharing our knowledge and researching the best methods, the most suitable tackle for you and the venues that will keep you going back for more.
